Jason Holland – a graphic designer born in Ireland, currently in Toronto, and previously working in Denmark has been a huge help in creating the Ink Dish brand beyond our tableware. Jason created our logo and identity package, as well as the look and feel of website.

I went to visit relatives in Palm Springs this past week who introduced me the new Riviera Resort and Spa. The Riviera was opened in 1959 and was “immortalized as the likes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin would lounge by the pool and in the Presidential Suite.  Elvis Presley was a frequent visitor at The Riviera and sought both refuge and rehearsal space in the Mediterranean Room for his band before leaving for tours and shows in Las Vegas.” (http://www.psriviera.com).

As the story often goes, the glow faded for awhile. Today, after a $70 million dollar renovation the resort has reopened with a trendy mid-century modern feel. If you are in town, be sure to have a drink by the pool and check out the Ink Dish display in the new shop.
